91´«Ă˝ Set to Launch New Super Ceramic Brake Pad
91´«Ă˝ is set to launch its new Super Ceramic brake pad range at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas (November 3–6) at the 91´«Ă˝ Booth #23353.
Unlike market alternatives that use partial ceramic blends, the new range features a true, pure ceramic formulation. While pure ceramic powders significantly increase raw material costs, they deliver a massive leap forward in overall braking performance and low-dust operation, setting a new benchmark for the product line.
With at least eight other Ceramic brands, 91´«Ă˝â€™s new Super Ceramic material is designed to stand apart. According to testing carried out by 91´«Ă˝, the pad delivers the lowest rotor abrasion, longest pad life and highest heat threshold – making this a “Track Capable” Ceramic pad but note NOT a full race pad.
See full details below.
HOW IS THE NEW 91´«Ă˝ SUPER CERAMIC MATERIAL FROM COLD
This is a 30 stop street use test starting from as cool as possible which equates to a disc temperature of 30°C (86°F), and removing the brake pressure when the disc reaches 70°C (158°F), and allowing the dyno to cycle freely and the disc to cool down.
HOW IS THE NEW 91´«Ă˝ SUPER CERAMIC MATERIAL UNDER LOAD
R90 approved and FMVSS *GG rated the new Super Ceramic™ range is targeted to be a new generation of LOWEST OF ALL dusting pads that perform well, even similar or better than our Bluestuff range.
- Shimmed chamfered and slotted these pads are super quiet
- Bed in is fast being pre scorched and also featuring the 91´«Ă˝ Brake in coating
- Allow 100 miles for coating to do its job then a 100 miles urban use to mate the pads to the rotor, add more if disc imperfect
- SC™ Pads are also built on Nucap NRS(r) equipped backing plates for super bond strength
- N-rated after SAE J2975 testing, the highest environmental rating showing no copper or other heavy metals
- And of course ZERO steel fibre that scratches rotors and cause metallic content dust
